Doha's Got Talent
Mic Test * 1 2 3*
Mohammad Nairooz steps on stage and starts to sing a Fairuz number. This is how #Dohasgottalent began at the main ballroom in Ritz Carlton.
There were about 16 back to back performances, each good in their own right. There were a diverse range of singing/musical talent with alternative, opera, indian classical, modern and pop acts showcasing their talent. Looking at performances everyone had only one thing to say.
“Doha surely has talent.”
Although, there were no giveaways, but everyone will only point in one direction to who was the best performer of the evening.
She can also be classified as a natural calamity as she moved everyone with her soulful performance, aptly named, Katrina, was also the youngest performer of the night aging at a tender 14 years only.

The buildup and interest to this #dohatweetup was great, with more than 200 registered attendees and performers were accommodated in till the last moment. We had the usual networking hour, perfect quick savory and sweet bites were made available by Ritz Carlton for appetite fulfillment. Keeping the response in mind, looks like we have to schedule another Doha’s got talent soon.
At the end would like to thank all who brought in event support:
Ritz Carlton for hosting the event
Think Big Qatar for audio and video support
and
All performers for reasons obvious to everyone.
What do you guys think, should we have a singing only or an all talent showcase next time?
